Agricultural Classification Questionnaire
WHAT IS AGRITOURISM?
Agritourism activities are permitted on agriculturally classified lands and are defined as: Any agricultural related activity consistent with a bona fide farm, ranch, or in a working forest which allows the general public to view or enjoy activities related to farming, ranching, historical, cultural or harvest-your-own attractions for recreational, entertainment or educational purposes. An agritourism activity does not include the construction of new or additional structures or facilities intended primarily to accommodate members of the general public. Additionally, these structures must be used as an integral part of the agricultural operation. The land underneath structures that do not qualify as agritourism will not be approved for the agricultural classification and will be assessed at just value under Florida Statute 193.011. (Agritourism Florida Statute 570.86 & 570.87)
